I really hope the VR controller can be used without VR. Stop forcing my hands together! I want freedom!

Loved the Wii for the ability to hold my hands independent of each other.

Well the joy-cons kinda do that but if you wanted something that’s actually adult sized you’d have to check 3rd party options and there’s probably no guarantee that it will work on anything other than the Switch.

JoyCons are very uncomfortable and fairly unreliable… Would be nice to have some quality product that serves a similar purpose.

There are attachments for the JoyCons you can get to make them a little more comfortable

All I hope for is that the Controller fits well in my long thin hands - like the fat Steam Controller does.

With the right joystick in place, it’s certainly a product I may buy. The Steam Controller trackpad was not a sufficient alternative for joystick input when most games designed input with the right joystick in mind. Aiming and camera control with a variable and non-tactile deadzone and input default of trackpad camera controls has always been annoying to me.

Offtopic story: Sometime ago I needed 2 gamepads. So I went to the mall and bought 2 Acer gamepads for 35€ each. I unboxed them right after I left the shop. They were wired and looked and felt exactly like 5€ chinese gamepads. So I immediately returned them and went to another shop in the same mall where I got a pair of Speedlink Rait controllers for 22€ each. They feel very well-built, just like an xbox controller and are supported by all OS and console emulators out of the box. It basically shows up as a Switch Pro controller, so it’s perfectly supported by Yuzu.
