I’m the same. Usually still in a blanket even in the 70s.

Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Trakt to increase prices to $60 for all users, including those on legacy, promotional, and grandfathered pricingEnglish9·2 days agoI used it for a while but I don’t think I ever knew it could do those things. I just used it to manually keep track of what I watched. Was more useful in keeping track of movies but I liked TrackSeries.tv better for keeping track of my shows.
Course, I don’t think it can do any of the things you mention either so it’s certainly not a replacement. It is free though. And I’m not aware of any limits on it.
EDIT: I take that back. If you follow a series it will show you when there are new episodes. I do make use of that feature. That’s really been my biggest problem. Knowing when a new season of something comes out.
If I wasn’t so familiar with manga and anime this would sound disturbing. But this barely tickles the feeling.

You prioritized game exclusively and free games hoping that would draw in gamers. Instead, people just hoard the free games and spend no money because they don’t like your platform. There was no real reason for anyone to switch and your choices left a sour taste in our mouths.

I should make that part bigger.
Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Japan's historic work ethic is declining—45% of workers admit they're quiet quittingEnglish113·10 days agoI have never seen the term used the way you describe. Because doing that is definitely not doing your job and grounds for termination if they ever found out.

Well, if you add up those lights, street by street, there is a single street on earth that has the most flashing lights.21·10 days agoMy point still remains. Most vehicles don’t have flashing lights either.

There are very few vehicles that do.
Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Japan's historic work ethic is declining—45% of workers admit they're quiet quittingEnglish822·10 days agoYea, every article using the term quiet quitting is getting a down vote. Doing what you’re paid for is simply doing your job. This is basically akin to getting mad you didn’t get a tip. A TIP IS OPTIONAL.
Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•What are some good examples of "Where the fuck do you go" kind of games?English2·12 days agoTurok 1? Cause IIRC there’s only a couple areas where I feel you can get stuck unless you really think about things. For the most part you just explore all parts of the map until you find the right place to go.
The one that first comes to mind is the level where you’ve got to find a bunch of switches to raises “stairs” over a pit of lava. Again, IIRC. The other one is a place where you’ve got to know that falling off the cliff won’t kill you. But IIRC you can see the tree tops in that area which you wouldn’t see in an area where falling will kill you.

Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some Movies/TV shows that you initially didn't like (and perhaps even quit watching), but then end up liking it?7·13 days agoWell, that’s the point of much of the show. Seeing them improve themselves.
Anything is only worth as much as someone else wants it. Everything comes down to supply and demand. Currency is just a medium so you don’t have to trade fish for lumber in order to trade the lumber for some bacon. Also, pretty convenient to be paid in currency instead of fish, lumber, or bacon. You can use it to directly buy/get what you want.
If no wants to buy or sell the currency then it’s a pretty worthless currency. That’s why you can’t just crate your own currency and buy things with Bob’s Bucks.
