I got 64gb of DDR5 ram. I got my computer from Dell and maxed out all what was available on their option. I have zero regrets.

I am intensely lucky and smart to gave gotten my new computer and a 14TB HDD right before this insanity happened. I am thinking of buying another 8TB HDD just for the hell of it.

In real life when you get hit, hiding behind cover does not regenerate your health and picking up health packs or eating food does nothing.

First of all getting rid of the phone and internet will not remove what is already there. If I died right now all the data is still going to be there and not erased on account of me being dead.

I have been easing into reducing my online signature as much as possible over the past few years. It is far from perfect, I know. That is also the stuff going forward and does not handle what is already past.

Like I still watch videos on YouTube mostly, and I still have a compromised Gmail account (compromised in that no matter what I do someone or someones have been using it to sign up for shit that clearly isn’t mine). And while I no longer use my real for social media, and my last known usage of Facebook was from last summer (and I greatly diminished what I was doing over a few years at that point). None of this removes what data brokers already have.

I have no trust in the system whatsoever, which is why I wouldn’t talk to police. And I have seen that video and easily over a hundred police interrogation videos. It astonishes me how readily people talk to police and say shit that would have landed them in jail even if they were not involved in the crime they were discussing. As an autistic person, the interrogation videos with commentary and breakdowns have helped more with understanding social situations than most of what my parents ever told me.

Edit: interestingly enough, the best example of what to do when interrogated by police on YouTube from an actually guilty guy called Rocky Rambo Wei Nam Kam. When interrogated and asked about the murder, his responses are basically ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ and ‘I have nothing to say’, when asked about irrelevant questions he was curt and dismissive in much of his answers.

The extent of how much I hate Carney cannot be overstate. The fact that he wants to pass multiple patriot act type bills that readily share information on Canadians with both US government and private agencies is just the final straw for me.
