It really is great if you’re on Windows, but I’ve run into issues installing GOG content on Linux.

2·2 months agoI was curious and looked it up, the price for BDXL could be a lot better. You’re better off just backing up to external HDD and keeping it on a faraday bag or something.
I used to (like 20 years ago) back up to DVD. It got pretty unweildy keeping track of what “stuff” I kept on which disk.
That said I guess I do fall into the “hardcore hoarder” category.
What board has posts like this nowadays? I was on the chans a few weeks back and it was basically all brain rot and fascism.

5·2 months agoI stream my music files from my personal server. I also use an mp3 player when I know I’ll be offline for an extended period.
That was my same thought. I feel like this is maybe disingenuous.
I like to think I’m the right-most Fedora, but some days I’m for sure the other Fedora.
His books might suck, but this is a funny thought.
Does this actually work to repel fleas?
We accrue non-slave-time slowly at approximately 2 weeks per year. We can use it for leisure, but that’s expensive, so gotta budget for it! And we also must spend a week before and after slaving extra hard to make sure the masters don’t notice our lack of slaving while we’re away.

211·4 months agoI just don’t understand how it’s more “techy” than Reddit. I just want our user count to keep going up.
I think we should focus less on hyping federation/decentralization and more on how there are no ads and the content is really coming from actual users (and maybe a leftist bias).
I got a few friends on here by explaining that choosing a server is no different from choosing an email provider. Everyone understands email, that you can communicate with most other email users no matter what their provider is.




It’s a “thorn” and that’s what it’s for. Used to be very common hundreds of years ago.
