Fishermen?

They are innocent until proven guilty, not until killed.

I’ve avoided Facebook for so long, the idea that it’s required as part of an ‘education system’ bewilders me. Wow.

I have to grudgingly agree. Saw lots of terrific movies there dating back 40 years, but I usually came out with a crink in my neck.

That’s solid and certainly qualifies as long-form, thanks.

This is bad news and I’m about to make a silly point that doesn’t really matter, but I don’t think Cascade PBS did any "long-form journalism published online.” Am I mistaken? They did daily news headlines, similar to the Times and KUOW, and I’ll miss that, but “long-form journalism” means magazine-length pieces, and I never saw that.

I’ve been using Firefox since it was resurrected from Netscape Navigator, but man… it feels more and more like they don’t want me to use it.

Fuck that shit. Public transit should be free.

Yeah, I don’t think there’s any particular bad guy in what happened. Just another situation that might’ve been prevented if Seattle had a Mayor who cared about us little people, and that caring filtered down to the ranks.

You sound like my wife, which is absolutely a compliment. She was an optimist, I’m a pessimist. Grew up in Seattle with only buses, so I love having Link and want it to be reliable, but it suffers a lot of unscheduled “please stand by” disruptions already, and when a second line is running on the same tracks, I’m … skeptical.

When Harrell’s done eating your ass, he can dine on mine.

I’d like the ability to block users when I stumble over an imbecile while browsing, but I still need to see the blocked user’s comments in groups that I moderate.
At present, user blocks are absolute, and don’t take moderation into consideration. This means, since I moderate a group, I can’t block users. If I do, and they later post to the group I moderate, I won’t see their posts or comments.

We need city-owned parking lots for living in, with an on-site live-in manager, and an adjacent building for showers and toilets.

Most of the perps doing most of the confessing are probably Catholic priests themselves.

I’m joyously carless! Thought about adding the briefest bus info, just a route number for every venue, but it’s work so it’ll take a while…

600,000 of those rides ended with the Lime parked blocking the sidewalk.

Little known Seattle factoid: City law allows you to be nude anywhere, any time. Not, however, if you flaunt it and make others uncomfortable.
Just fuckin’ yay.
Give me someone who believes in something — Katie Wilson — not another politician who believes only in money & power.
