I just asserting that people generally had more down time in the past.

About .6% of the world is considered as living in modern slavery.

In say, the feudal era, that percentage would be some 70 or 80 times higher.

I think moral outrage is one of the only forms of socially acceptable bullying, ie, you can say anything to someone who is transgressing whatever the trendy social outrage is. (Give someone shit for wearing child labour and “you don’t know…” Etc.)

One of the best bits of advice I’ve ever read was simply to put your phone facedown, out of reach when you want to do something.

It doesn’t always work but it cuts down my random phone nonsense by a lot.

Admittedly, ol hyperactive brain still gets lost thinking about dinosaurs or some shit too often but it feels healthier.

Everyone ought to have that relationship once, one of the best life experiences anyone could ask for.

Honestly, most of my first few relationships were awkward bumbling affairs. Lot of heart, excitement and zero experience dealing with it all plus another person going through the exact same nonsense.
