I had no idea this was a local instance. Neat!

Yeah I always think this stuff is sad. Even if the game wasn’t great, it just sucks to see hard work go to waste.

But it’sadvanced, didn’t you read? 😉

“Art is something that we think is a little outdated in the modern business landscape” - this guy probably.

I think everyone’s friend just told them about it one day.

I’ve done this as best I can too. It was hard because I feel a need to be informed, but I came to the conclusion that being informed was actually only making me miserable, and didn’t actually spur any kind of action. It was actually the opposite because the fear machine kept me paralyzed with despair and cynicism.
I cut out as much as I can, and while things are still tough, I have more mental capacity to focus on what’s actually happening to me in the here and now.
You might know it already but I would recommend a free newsletter called Fix the News. It’s a roundup of only positive news, and not fluff either. It’s honestly done a lot to make me realize the endless bad news is a very narrow look at what’s happening in the world.

How are people finding these types or sites? I love the idea of it but I don’t understand how any of it gets discovered.
My cat is like a champion soccer player the way he shoots it under there. It takes like 1-2 taps sometimes, what a legend.
Would people really just exaggerate on the internet like that? 😔

The ai image on the article is pretty ironic

I agree, and the performance thing was my suspicion as well. It just seems off to have a large scale siege game be so small.
To be honest 5v5 still seems kinda small on paper to me, but I haven’t played it.
The focus on player dropoff is always misleading. Free to play games always lose massive numbers of players within the first week generally. What matters is who’s left, and what the company’s operating budget is. 10k players or even less can be plenty for a small team for instance. With such small player team sizes in-game, that would also be more than enough for a populated feeling queue.

Welcome to the stock market: where the money’s made up and the rules don’t matter!
Chat, is this true?
Ah yes, eliminate informal names. That’s definitely something they have control over 😉

Not always a good plan when you’re managing business relationships. It’s great when you can have that kind of dialog with a client, but diplomacy is a tricky dance sometimes.

The team size is so baffling to me in this game, but I’ve been wondering after watching this if it’s actually a performance thing.
It sounds like the game is woefully poorly optimized, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it can’t handle a more fun number of players.
Mine wants to smell it and also eat it.
I can’t believe how literate OP is for only being 4 years old!
