I love taking my FC deep into the black. Just gotta pay my squad mates to load excess fuel and I’m good to go!

Yes, as of now, you cannot destroy another player’s fleet carrier.
My upkeep costs are ~$15,000,000 a week, which is a good chunk of money but not too much of a hassle.
Vupware@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Are there any good multi-player games that allows for optional long term collaboration?1·1 day agoElite Dangerous! Form a squad w ur mates, and work towards a common goal of colonizing a solar system.
You’ve got a lot of learning to do if you pick that game up, but it is excellent.
Elite Dangerous: the grail is the Fleet Carrier. Spent 7 years of non-grindy playtime saving up for mine.
There is only one artist I listen to, that being Aleksi Perälä.
Colundi is an alternative tuning scale, not a genre of music. There are other artists out there making music with Colundi frequencies, but Perälä is the pioneer.
If you like jungle drums and sonic experimentation, check out his Midnight Sun project.
If you like acid techno, check out his Northern Lights project under the Ovuca namesake.
If you like ambient techno, check out the Colundi Sequence.
If you like breakbeat-fueled IDM, check out Sunshine, Starlight, and Moonshine.
He has lots more music, but I haven’t listened to it yet.

My parents then used the term against me throughout my childhood when I would pout or mope around.
I quite like the saying.
It’s good work music; I listen to it all day every day at my job.If you’re actually interested, I will gladly gush about it!
Nope! I listened to rap and metal when I was in school. Now, I listen only to Colundi.

Vupware@lemmy.zipto science@lemmy.world•NASA investigates vision disorder affecting 70% of astronautsEnglish15·4 days agoIt frustrates me that nobody has attempted construction of a Coriolis station yet. They are so prolific throughout science fiction and theoretical scientific literature, and they have been prolific for ages.
Detractors of Coriolis stations will usually say that the scale required for the optimal 1G is not feasible, but the physics behind the idea are more or less sound.
We have the technology to build one, it’s just a matter of profitability. Nobody wants to burn their trillions on a moonshot.
Hasn’t this been known for some time? Perhaps I’m confusing these spiders with ones that simply form wind sails.
Vupware@lemmy.zipto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What should I get my online friend for their birthday?8·8 days agoFair warning: Noita is excellent, but it is also quite difficult and obtuse when you first pick it up.
My rec for Minecraft similarity is Terraria.
Yes! It really is something special. Post something, and people will engage with it authentically. I love Lemmy so so much and I’m glad “normal” people are allergic to federation.

Caution and breadth of sources should be staples of any historical or contemporary investigation, but alas, the minds of my fellow citizens have been eroded; these practices cannot be assumed to be broadly adopted, and as such, when saying something positive about LLMs, we must provide ample disclaimers and remind the general populace of the dangers and harms these technologies expose us and our surroundings to.

It is important to use these tools with an abundance of caution, and those who cannot think critically should certainly stay away from them.
LLMs are unequivocally a net negative to humankind, but there are silver linings.

This is corroborated by the fact that it was another Lemmy user’s most recent image.

I’ve never had a therapist, but I had a traumatic upbringing. I’d rate my childhood -5; what would a therapist think of my past, I wonder?
Costa Rica. Lovely country with lovely people. They do not have a national military; this was a deliberate action by their government after civil unrest decades ago.
