Of course , do you still have the installation CD so I can erase absolutely everything and reinstall it from scratch ? That’s the only thing I know …
« I don’t know about windows we only have Mac at work, so I move to mac at home years » works pretty well for me.
Ah right. It should be TLS, and it may be SSL for future backward compatibility, sometimes resulting in corrupted images without warning.
Do they sell too many Xbox ? Yeah they are at risk of a monopolistic accusation. Let’s ride it again and sell less units.
Those companies are literally only the man in the middle, in every sense

Funny as almost all image will end up showing in a small rectangle on a small phone screen.
It could be RAW, WMF or WEBP most humans couldn’t care less when it just works. 😜

Not illegal, rather not free. There is an ongoing effort to switch from GPL licencing to more restrictive licensing, allowing corpos to close the source of their distribution. Redhat-IBM is at work. All this camouflaged behind good intentions like rewriting GNU user land and libs in Rust because memory safety.

I hope it last, web enshitification may bring us back to the 2000s where that one site requires internet explorer, this one won’t allow DRM content on non windows platforms…
It’s just around the corner.
Luckily at work we are allowed to install a dual boot, or even single boot with Linux. The one obligation is to run the corporate antivirus and vpn client (and yes we had malware detections of Linux binaries).
Dual booting for the last 6 months, now 100% on Linux (Mint). Can’t say I miss anything from windows, maybe ms office’s polished apps but I can’t care less. Nowadays everything runs in the browser, it has become « the OS ». And almost every browser is a chromium variant that’s it.
" not much "
Ok fine…
