Genetic fallacy. I do not have the same faith as my parents. Also, the same can be said about Atheism: you’re only atheist because you live in a secular society. If you’re in Saudi Arabia, then you won’t be an Atheist, you’ll be a Muslim. So how can Atheism be true?
The only reason you are a Christian is because your parents are, not because it is Truth.

I’m an atheist because I went to a Catholic school and have seen enough to know sky fairies aren’t real and it’s a pretty good scam to make money.
That’s because the Roman Church is about money and tradition. They fail to catechise.
I’d say most outspoken atheists come from religious families - same as ex-smokers are more vocal/aggressive about smoking than those who never did.
