As centrist you think left and right ultimately rejoin in the extreme, this is a very classic centrist way of seeing things so I’m pretty happy it confirm previous take :)

I’m not really aware but for exemple searching ‘Healthcare in Russian’ I see on wikipedia that: Healthcare in Russia,[a] or the Russian Federation,[b] is provided by the state through the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, and regulated through the Ministry of Health.[1] The Constitution of the Russian Federation has provided all citizens the right to free healthcare since 1993.

Which I would consider a better leftist healthcare policy than in US ?

No, I just know that far right capitalist states are what they are.

It doesn’t matter if the guy leading it is fuhrer or chairman of the great infallible communist party.

Callling USSR far right is a joke, the ideology was one of the most leftist and anticapitalist one yet at some point it devolved into an hyper authoritative regim notably under Stalin.

It would be pretty hard to tell at which point it balanced because the history is not black and white and riddled in violence from the start on 1917 proletarian revolution and futher.

Saying something is centrist is not an insult or a bad thing in fine, you can be a hard core leftist and prone a more centrist approach in governing for stability purpose. then is it at which point you betray but that is another story lmao

“you’re a centrist if you think the capitalist country of the USSR wasn’t leftist” is an insane bomb of a take

Ok I guess you just didn’t went to school at any point. Yes the USSR Marxist-Leninist one party socialist that built upon proletarian revolution, killing the Tsar and the bourgeoisie, and tried to apply communism as leftist roots. I know I know its pretty hard there is not much indice there but maybe if you spent some times on Wikipedia you’ll get the hint that it as indeed leftist roots
