Callling USSR far right is a joke, the ideology was one of the most leftist and anticapitalist one yet at some point it devolved into an hyper authoritative regim notably under Stalin.
It would be pretty hard to tell at which point it balanced because the history is not black and white and riddled in violence from the start on 1917 proletarian revolution and futher.

Yes the USSR Marxist-Leninist one party socialist that built upon proletarian revolution, killing the Tsar and the bourgeoisie, and tried to apply communism as leftist roots.
