I’m sorry, please respond more coherently as to why you support someone saying “the french deserve 1000 mass shootings” not being banned and people saying “that’s fucked up french people are ok” being banned. I realize your first language is probably french, which makes your stance all the more confusing, so I’m not attempting to denigrate you for mistakes, but the above comment is near incomprehensible and to accurately respond I’d need to understand it.

I’m not really surprised considering you’re american I’m even amaze you know what France is. Saying France deserve Charlie Hebdo is 101 free speech and is legal to do long as long as what you say is not considered terrorism apology. So you could blame laxist security policies, politics decision or whatever on it. So let me reitterate with simpler word:

Opinion you considers bad and false != Disallowed opinion This is called free speech while OP spamming Lemmy.ml with low effort troll post is considered spamming.

Sure, but then so is saying “the french aren’t that bad.”

The part that is weird (and that I’m surprised a frenchman supports) is the part where wishing death on the french is not banned but saying “hey we shouldn’t be making death wishes against the french” in response to “more mass shootings in france please” is banned.
