My kitten was the same. She was just a ball of energy, always wanted to run and play, and assumed if you were trying to touch her it was in play.
One day I pinned her to the ground and started petting her. Totally blew her little 7 week old mind, she has been desperate for pets and the most affectionate lovey-dovey cat I’ve ever seen ever since.

Lol that’s adorable! Odin not demanding attention is honestly kind of a good thing because he lives at a horse barn and is liable to get stomped on if he’s underfoot.
