Just finished Link’s Awakening on Switch and Inscryption, The Long Reach, and Darq on my Steam Deck.
Next up:
- Hyper Light Drifter
- Death’s Door
- Bendy and the Ink Machine
I’m basically getting through some shorter games I’ve accumulated. I have some longer games waiting for me, I’m just not motivated to dig in yet, especially since I’m back to full time work again.
The Night Runners prologue, I can’t stand kickstarters and all that bullshit but this is the first thing I will be supporting for sure, I can’t wait to get a hold of the actual game.
It is a racing game set in the late 90s early 00s based around JDM cars promising to offer a some what light RPG based around the street racing world. It is made to be like the NFS: Underground era of racing games and there are so many options I just can’t wait!

I grabbed Star Trek: Resurgence to fill the gap until Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. For those unfamiliar, it’s a Tell Tale- like narrative game where you switch between two characters as you’re presented with Star Trek style situations and moral quandaries.
It’s very firmly in that AA category and is a little rough in some areas, but I felt there was weight to some of my choices. There’s a decent amount of action and mini games that don’t feel too awful. A solid 7.5/10 for me.
I’m looking forward to trying Palworld based on the streams I’ve seen and will be playing Brotato on the side once it hits Game Pass.
Mass effect 2 and 3
I played mass effect OG on my x360 … like 10 years ago ? Maybe more ? I like the atmosphere, but I didn’t really dig deep into the lore - it was a bit dry.
Fast forward a decade and Legendary edition came my way now on PS4. It’s now 100gb download and no way to split it, which a chore, but I have to say, I have really enjoyed chilling on the Normandy !
I can sit back with a couple of beers, it’s an easy shooter in places, just soak in sci-fi vibe. Sound thru the headphones is nice.
So that’s me. I have Cyberpunk on the back burner, but my god it’s still a bad game. That’s for an another day I guess .
Minecraft. It’s fun to just take some time off from all the survival aspects of things, and enjoy a bit of creative mode building.
