A Casey Neistat Vision Pro video posted over the weekend was, he says, simply intended to be a piece of silly fun – wearing the device while catching metro trains and walking through Times Square.

But he said that in the course of making the video, he had a totally unexpected experience, which convinced him that this type of device is the future of computing…

      Those parts were definitely played for laughs in this instance. I mean, it’s not like there was anyone else using those stairs while he was typing.

      And really, how is it any different to someone stopping on the stairs to reply to a text on their phone?

      I thought the comedic timing of the gags were funny and the people on the subway appeared to be somewhat interested or unbothered by the spectacle.
