It’s a mid range one that does a pretty good job, but if I leave it on warm for a long while after finishing the rice turns to shit. I buy more expensive/good rice and don’t like it getting ruined.

A good Tiger/Cuckoo/Zojirushi should be able to do that no problem.
We have a zojirushi rice cooker and it never burns our rice.
