Not sure what he expected. I commend all the protesting, but we all saw how reddit responded. They didn’t give two shits. Yet people stick around in a toxic relationship with the site until they get removed. It’s weird. Why not just make the move to Lemmy before they take everything from you?
This is borderline bootlicking. Not sure what he expected? A protest is a protest dude. That line is GOP approved.

Yeah this is the best spot atm in the instance, its a catchall community for programming things in the instance. The ios dev community is currently going through the community request process and then this can be crossposted into there
I’m surprised they gave a shit for /r/iOSProgramming since it’s not as popular. It’s more niche but yeah sad to hear. Glad I got rid of reddit after the API shutdown.
They don’t “give a shit” about what sub it is, they just have automated things that do this.

Candid Camerait!Mastodon and Lemmy don’t have great interoperability. They use the ActivityPub protocol in ways that are not compatible with each other.
You’re right, they’re pretty different, though you can post from Mastodon to Lemmy I don’t know if you can do the reverse.
As others have said Firefish is a better fit, also Misskey is nice (long live Ai chan!)
