there are/were a lot of nomadic tribes in human history. All of them wanted to eat, or at least have a stable and significant source of calories. Most of them lived in semi-fertile land though, which was not fertile enough for wheat/corn. So what they did was take a goat, let it eat all of the grass/flowers that naturally grew, and it produced milk for the humans. This way, both humans and the goat could live.
Thanks for educating us. I guess we can safely say that milk drinking was considered acceptable by our ancestors due to their terrible desperation, much as cannibalism among stranded sailors is excusable.
Oat milk tastes way better without the whole torturing animals stuff and it isn’t even that much more expensive. I really don’t understand why people still drink cow milk.
As someone who generally enjoys drinking milk (I almost exclusively drink water but when I do indulge in other drinks its almost always a nice glass of milk, or a pint of milk for the road from the convenience store) I’ve tried oat milk and it tasted good, but just seemed to be missing some body. It tasted more like something I should mix into something else than drink on its own
the thought of putting some slaved animal’s titty sweat into my mouth makes me legit want throw up ngl. How the fuck was that ever acceptable?
It’s not sweat, it’s closer to mucus and pus and it’s delicious! 😋
Sure glad I read this over my bowl of cereal this morning.
Just look at it this way:

How is that relevant to modern age? By that logic nothing is ick and everything is justifiable cause at some point it was ok with our ancestors 🥱
I literally answered your question?

I knew this 4chan communities are very pro spectrum but to take “ever” so literally is new peak lmao

Yeah, well, that’s just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I like almond milk, but have trouble finding the nipples.
milking cows isn’t torture
They’re perverts
Are you an idiot or just an edgelord?
Once you try a mother’s milk, it makes a lot more sense.
I’ve tried but your mom is just not into it. Maybe you can put a word in for me
this. milk is fucking disgusting.
animals aren’t slaves. comparing slaves to animals is what slavers do.
Everyone who downvoted you is a pervert and is trying to deny the fact they’re ashamed of themself.
Exactly. Drinking animal milk is very weird and unethical.
There’s a lot of foods that only became a thing because someone was really hungry.
or really stupid, I nearly ate a rock when I was little if my grandma didn’t catch me first
Even if you ignore ethics it’s just nasty lol there are other liquid fats that don’t need to be squeezed out of a mammal
