Nah TOTK runs like garbage on the switch compared to it’s potential you can say it ‘doesnt matter’ but it’s a mess. I played for a couple hours on my actual switch but got so annoyed with the horrendous aliasising of shadows and jagged camera movement that I stopped and spent a couple days of free time setting up yuzu on my PC. The difference is NIGHT and DAY! You are just sitting in Nintendo’s cave watching shadows on the wall if you think it doesn’t matter. The difference is in fact enormous it just might not matter to you.
Wow wonder how that’s gonna run.
It’s a react component and that would be the proper way to give a numerical value in jsx
Tolerance is a social contract not a right. If you are tolerant, you earn tolerance for yourself. If you are intolerant, you don’t deserve tolerance yourself. It’s really not that complicated imo. I don’t feel the need to be tolerant of racist, bigoted people.
You’re splitting hairs here I think it’s fair to make the statement that tech industry workers perform professional tech work. I mean it’s cool that you learned to bake but what makes you think this means you know what the skill requirements are for tech workers and how well chatgpt can cover for gaps in those skills? Your dismissive ‘meh’ says to me ‘yea but I learned how to bake with chatgpt so I disagree with this statement’.
Professional tech work at home is professional tech work. I think to anyone who actually have careers in technology wouldn’t see a distinction here. Programming is not the same as systems architecture, systems management etc. Programming is simply one of the tools you use as a software engineer. I do not think it’s too broad to be meaningless and I think comparing learning to bake to software engineering is reductive and shows a lack of understanding about the requirements of the field.
So? Are you saying you disagree with the premise of the article because chatgpt taught you how to bake? Professional tech work isn’t really relatable to baking at home.
If stability and reliability are paramount to you, you might consider getting the older version. At this point the hardware has been well tested and I feel like you might be beta testing less on a gen 1 vs a gen 2. That being said my personal experience is that I’ve never felt like a beta tester for valve and I’m sure you’ll be happy with either. Cheers!
Yea I honestly can’t believe people who think of themselves as decent would delight like this in the suffering of others? You realize voicing opinions like this takes you right out of the ‘right side of the argument’ and outs you as a pretty much an awful person? Do better, people.
You’re mistakening the wide range of solutions and tooling for complexity.
Yarr harr fiddle dee dee. Fuck Netflix, Hulu and Disney
I can’t wait to watch some freaky YouTube doc about this in a couple months
This thread just reminded me that the dust has probably settled on all the TOTK performance mods and now might be a good time to play it on my PC.
Nah the actual limitation is that providing people a way to transfer the token without paying a royalty is essential if you want to give people the option to freely transfer it between their wallets without selling it and paying a royalty. You could write a smart contract that does enforce this but then you would lose the ability to have that free transfer.
Basically the transfer function on an erc721 interface (nft) cannot have enforced royalty payment otherwise it wouldn’t support people transferring the token outside of a sale. Theoretically you could use some kind of interface standard or write up a different contract where users are forced to pay a royalty on any kind of transfer but then there wouldn’t be a way to transfer it without paying the royalty and basically no nft trading platforms would support it because under the hood you have to transfer them the token so they can sell it on your behalf once a buyer is found.
FYI not trying to shill funny pictures but I do know a bit of solidity so maybe someone here is actually curious about the limitation.
Am I trippin or did you post literally the exact same video as me lmao
For me the old dance video I couldn’t get enough of back in the day was of these dudes doing the robot at Kollaboration 2001 that capped off with this dude doing some sick liquified robot shit that still melts my mind to this day. Thought this was that video initially so had to go look it up for you folks.
I think social needs like fulfillment and happiness, pride that comes with seeing others succeed, the contentment that comes with deep love for others and receiving that in kind are all things we have evolved to share and receive and can be the end goal just as much as a means to an end. Sure, the evolutionary pressure that created that kind of social dependency may have been more practical and survival oriented in nature, however we are long past that at this point and I think it’s fair to say humans need those things directly in order to be healthy now. Exactly the reason why NASA can’t just send people up together without considering the social dynamics of that unit; even the most intelligent and motivated people will be unable to act in their own self interest without those social needs met properly.
