That’s been the case since '16. Things need to change at the DNC because maga sure as shit aren’t going away.

The only possible explanation for this is that doesn’t suck is maybe they wanted to talk starlink, but that could’ve happened in a different setting without Trump.
No I think it’s time to look inwards now. The only people to blame is ourselves and the trust we put into the DNC. They have broken our trust over and over again. It’s fucking time to rip the bandaid off and just focus on organizing and rooting out the people and issues that led to this failure in leadership. I don’t think I’m being dramatic in saying: they have completely failed us and robbed us of a secure future. I’m young, and this supreme court and all the shit to come is going to haunt me until the day I die. I’m fucking livid.
Maga has done the hard work and organized. We aren’t entitled to rule with no leadership.
Trump was way more unpopular then. He also told his supporters to vote day of. Voting by mail was way easier that year so people that may normally not have voted did, and Trump supporters voted election Day. He basically kneecapped himself.
I’m convinced he would’ve be reelected had it not been for COVID.
The DNC and Biden failed us. His legacy will be tainted due to his failure to step aside for the nation. Kamala as a VP was already unpopular the DNC should’ve known they needed to choose someone who at least did well in the primaries or could actually fucking win.
I voted for her but I knew she probably wouldn’t win, they don’t fucking learn and then they blame us.
This is the third fucking time Democrats have run with an establishment candidates.
I voted Harris but I knew she was a shit candidate and not who we needed to go against Trump. She couldn’t even primary ffs.
The DNC is squarely to blame, every time people blame the voters and nothing fucking changes. You can’t keep putting up generic neocon establishment hand-picked candidates and expect turnout.
Stop blaming the voters. It’s the same shit every damn time. The DNC failed America. After Clinton they should’ve learned, but they just do the same shit every time.
They double down every time they roll Clinton out like we care. What we need is a party that’s fighting for us, not one that expects votes because the other guy sucks.
We all should be pissed at the lack of leadership that has enabled this outcome. Pointing fingers at each other solves zero issues. What’ll happen is 3 years go by and Democrats roll out another neocon establishment pick and we’ll just go oh well it’s too late to fix anything. Things need to change now before the next cycle starts. We have a lot of work to do.
I’m still waiting for games to release on Linux with good compatibility, I hope that’s the case since the steam deck has been out for a bit. Unfortunately every Linux native game I’ve tried so far has had some issues that were resolved switching to wine
It “just works” 95% of the time with no tweaks. That’s the benefit. Games in your library will install and run with zero intervention, just like on Windows and at times with better compatibility because the tweaks and dependencies are already configured. It’s nice not having to manage wine versions and prefixes.
This is my biggest gripe with developers. More often than not the native version either has worse performance or poor compatibility whereas the windows versions just seem to work. It seems like they aren’t putting effort into making their games compatible with newer compositors or something because proton “just works”.
Plus you can probably run stock Android on the op6 if you wanted to run Android 13
I imagine everything else became more expensive too, labor, shipping, processing, etc
Why would they choose a us citizen. That’s already a difficult place to start cause there’d be more surveillance on him vs another person from a different country or a full Chinese citizen.
I am absolutely fucking loving this game. The split screen coop is incredible, albeit it needs some work. Honestly one of the best game me and my SO have played in a long, long time and by far the most immersive campaign we’ve ever been able to play together.
I’m playing on Linux and there are only a few issues I’ve come across: local multiplayer is disabled by default and requires an environment variable to enable, also there seems to be a memory leak after playing for a few hours where fps drops pretty dramatically. Other than that I don’t think there’s much of a difference between windows and pc.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but coal powered plants have caused more cancer than any of those events on their own and when operated safely to modern standards they have a very low to no risk of release whereas coal plants release pollutants by design. Nuclear waste is in a solid state so it’s far easier to dispose of underground vs coal which immediately gets put into the atmosphere
It’s wise to have a small toaster oven if you absolutely need to cook something. They preheat fast and obviously put off less heat than a full oven. I don’t really bother with the oven much these days as it’s getting over 110 here at the moment. Also cook after the sun sets
It blows my mind how homes in the desert hardly use swamp coolers. It’s just a sign to me how unprepared people are. If the grid becomes unstable, this place almost immediately becomes uninhabitable due to how inefficient ac is. Homes are hardly built with efficiency in mind. I see homes painted black, with floor to ceiling windows, set on top of sand stone cliffs. Nobody out here seems to realize how dangerous this all is or that they’re living in a desert.
Ffs if it were me id dig into the ground and paint my walls white, and only put windows on the north/south sides, use geothermal cooling/a swamp cooler, etc.
Genuine question: why not try Linux? You’ll continue to get updates without the nagware. There are very few games I play that cant run on proton at this point.
