Anyone trying to avoid US taxes would have to renounce US citizenship
… and would then pay a hefty exit tax.
I’m not convinced on the “only country that can” part though.

You have the most powerful military in the world and basically are your allies’ (former) protective power. There is no outside help coming because (among other reasons of course) nobody is physically able to help you.

About our only actual hope is a MASSIVE switch to nuclear power across the world
Even if it wasn’t the most expensive and second most stupid form of power generation there is, it’d be a 50+ year “solution” (at the very least) for a 10 year problem. Look at the actual current project times for single new reactors, and then factor in every industrial nation trying to build a massive amount of them at the same time competing for a very limited amount of people who know how to do that.

Sadly, finding businesses and traffic data are 99% of the reason I open google maps. I have organic installed, but I’ve since found out that “I want to go somewhere I don’t know the way to but have found out the street address some other way, and I don’t care about the traffic in between” simply doesn’t happen.

When Split Fiction made me a pig that had magic fart powers.
Before that in BG3, when I accidentally released the brakes on the windmill.

Not if you only receive 40% of the wages too because the gains go to the capitalists.
That one is so much more fun once your buffs last all day.

Yeah, we should still tax it though.

That’s true with many regulations. The quiet part that they’re trying to avoid saying out loud is that behaving ethically and responsibly doesn’t earn them money.

Oh, so just like with the GDPR, cool.

The main character isn’t who you think it is.

It happens to us too, they just have to give longer notice and let us chancel.
Schäuble said “no bailout, period”.
Waiters have told me to please not stack the dishes because it messes with their carrying technique.

Both are true. In a multi party system one party can very well be a strong faction or the strongest one (and cause associated problems) while still losing on “winner takes all” races because the entire rest of the spectrum is strongly opposed to them.
We should still be terrified, because the NSDAP took over the country from that exact position.

Apart from this guy obviously being biased and a super villain: Nobody who held this opinion was ever able to even give me a rough idea of an explanation how it should supposedly damage the economy. The excessively rich don’t spend most of their wealth (which would induce growth through demand), they sit on it and watch it grow. Taxing it takes not a single cent out of the economy.
In this case we’re looking at proposed 2%. The fortunes of the excessively rich grow by 10% and more in a year. So with this tax they would still get richer and richer. Attach another zero to that number, then we’d be getting somewhere.
I’ve seen this error three times now, with a few days in between. The first time was right after a fresh install with space age. I don’t have other mods, only the space age ones. Verifying game files in steam fixes it each time.
Hope it’s not because of dying hardware, although I haven’t had issues with other games or software yet.
I’m on a 1080TI and Mint works like a charm.
