Wait until you find out that primer, as in a small tutorial or short teaching material, is pronounced with a short i sound like is found in “fin,” “mix,” and “fringe.”
Primmer.
That one really boiled my noodle recently.

Demand reparations for Netscape Navigator!
But how do animals without homes learn to cook their meat?
It’s not just that we eat “too much” but also that we’re eating too much non-nutritive foods. The United States has entirely too many so-called “food deserts” where people are unable to purchase healthy foods
HBO loves doing this with their shows. See also True Detective
Yeah, fuck EA. Even the Sims 3 which came out in 2009 is still $20 for just the base game. All 19 DLCs are also $20. But wait, you can get the game and all the DLC packaged in a bundle for the low low price of just $190 (on Steam).
Absolutely ridiculous even without considering that you need an EA account to play legitimately which is a whole other pile of crap.
So true. I was watching this on a whim recently and noticed Ted is just an incomprehensibly annoying human being. This guy constantly ignores good advice because wHaT aBoUt TrUe LoVe and is constantly dragging his so-called friends into his shenanigans and inevitable failures. Also he’s a bad friend to pretty much all of the other central characters and will constantly turn them down or ignore their needs in his relentless pursuit to find a girlfriend. Even Barney, the supposed sex hound, frequently makes time for his friends and genuinely wants to see them have a good time. Not Ted. Ted is a selfish bastard who thinks one “grand gesture” can make up for any transgression, so he let’s minor transgressions build until he has to make a grand gesture to smooth things over. That guy is toxic.
PSA most white garments are dyed white and will yellow if bleached. There are almost no “true white” fabrics/fibers in nature (cotton and wool are more cream colored, for example) so be careful using bleach on your clothes
I like the allegory to magic you’re implying at some points because it really seems like an apt comparison for the way an SS uses the legal/government system. Like it’s some sort of arcane power and they can harness it for their own gains with certain incantations (“I comprehend”), runes (writing legal codes on your envelope to get out of paying postage), or crafted artefacts (fake IDs and license plates).
Ahh this makes sense. That’s how I managed to get two separate Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin, Anakin Skywalker, Luke, and Luke Skywalker in the same game.
ThinkPad is now Lenovo just FYI. They were acquired some years ago and now Lenovo makes and sells the ThinkPad line of hardware
Absolutely body language first. It is well established that children can learn and use sign language to communicate long before they can speak. If that doesn’t count as “body language” then I don’t know what does 😉
Unfortunately FromSoft missed this memo and only has Xbox/MKB glyphs native. Since Elden Ring uses anti-cheat I can’t even mod the ps5 glyphs in without losing online functionality :(
While we’re at it can we also have both sets of controller glyphs available on PC for games that released on Xbox and Playstation? My ps5 controller works fine but I still see “press Y to interact” in game
All this talk of Quebecois separatisme is giving me think DFW was a lot more prophetic than we thought…
NICE
Edit: I have watched this video before. Am I having a stroke?
I wish Summoning Salt would do some more recent or different games, but he really seems to love the NES/SNES era. Just saw he released his second multiple-hours-long video about Mike Tyson’s Punch Out and I am just not the audience for that I guess.
He could do good things with Hollow Knight or Halo 2 for example, but maybe that’s just not his passion.
Hopefully it doesn’t try to bang it’s cousin
Remember when Sony made you use a proprietary mini SD card for your handheld instead of just allowing the format that was already in place and widely adopted?
Anyone else remember YTMND?
