That’s also not compliant with EU regulations.
That’s also not compliant with EU regulations.
Maybe something with translation IDK. Municipalities can have different regulations, and breaking them can carry a penalty. But these are not laws.
The “central investigative authorities” are the same police institution as regional police, they’re just a different department so to speak.
it was never even to share, but rather to store for myself so I could read it at my own pace. And the worst part… I read it for RECREATIONAL USE
You disgust me…what a sick and exploitive attitude.
It’s just police, there’s not really any policing entity above just regular police.
There are no “local laws” in Sweden that differ between parts of the country, only laws that apply to the entire country.
Hey now…we all of course only have copies of our own blurays and DVDs on our home media servers.
There is a difference there in that these are digital copies (easy to make more copies) vs physical books (hard to make more copies).
Libraries rent out ebooks too, also easily stripped of DRM and copied if someone wants to so that. But that is seemingly not an issue.
As I’m reading this, stingrays are pretty ineffective if users are using E2EE messaging (or just a VPN), and can then pretty much only be used for location estimation.
Just in time for the rapid enshitification of streaming services…and the cycle repeats. Greedy people always ruin all the good things we have.
I usually just borrow e-books from the library, download as epub and strip the DRM from the file so I can read it, and return the eBook to the library right away for the next person to borrow it.
It’s a perfect game-cube some might say.
3D 4G is 4G^3, so it would be something like 64G
Its got the face of Dave Grohl, but the eyes of Michael Jackson…it’s some uncanny valley shit.
That “somewhere” ought to be complaining to the FTC etc., because boycotts are hardly ever effective
I agree, but avoiding feeding in to the negative feedback loop that you want changed is a good thing until that happens.
I listen to a few podcasts that have no ads at all, so that’s also not true.
I’m not blaming any single person, I’m blaming the attitude they (and many people in general) approach it with.
It all has to start somewhere…taking the apathetic approach is not only not helping, but you’re a part of what’s making it worse by just accepting it.
Its called “not listening to those ad-ridden pieces of crap”-podcasts. Vote with your wallet and attention.
Sooo many Germans are terrible at English. It’s better with the younger generations (<30y/o) and people with higher education (bachelor’s degree and up). But I frequently run into Germans that have fairly poor English skills, some it’s almost impossible to communicate properly with either because they don’t speak it or because their accent is so crazy thick they’re hard to understand.
I added to my comment, maybe after you replied.
Like I mentioned in the edit, I don’t mind paying for content. But the way they manage the pricing makes me defy them out of spite. When they want to manipulate the pricing like that, they themselves started the immoral behaviour. When your opponent fights dirty, you level the playing field by circumventing their efforts.
You just linked the same video as OP
