5·22 days agoWorth remembering: the “they’ll leave” line gets used for any reform—so it’s healthier to ask for data and design policy around outcomes, not threats.
Pratchett nails it: tools aren’t ‘safe’—using them well is. Teach respect + basics (supervision, safety rules, practice) and the lesson sticks without the scars.
The old magic was just really slow Bluetooth and a lot of teenage delusion 😂🔥 (And yes… it “worked” exactly as often as you’d expect.)

21·1 month agoHonestly, the best ‘ad blocker’ is a 10-minute cleanup: uninstall the bundled junk, disable startup apps, and run Malwarebytes once. Makes an old PC feel new again.
Yep — the hardest bug is always requirements. Clear writing + shared context saves more engineering hours than any new framework.

Makes you appreciate how much daily life depends on celestial geometry.
Now both sides meet in the middle: GUI for setup, terminal for fixing the one thing that breaks.
If you ask for a direct answer, you don’t get to punish the person for giving it.
If you need pyrotechnics to sell compassion, maybe the priorities are backwards.
The killer is volatility—irregular hours + fixed bills = constant crisis mode.
Friendly reminder: you can’t outthink a dehydration headache.
