Lemmy account of natanox@chaos.social

OP is like that guy who’s sneaking into parties over and over again to do the same stupid stunt even though nobody wants that shit, increasingly pissing off people.
You won’t get the same purity. Not because of worse industrial processes, but because with ancient lead any radioactive impurity normally introduced by the ore had enough time to decay.
We simply can’t filter out trace amounts of radioactive material naturally existing in or around the ore as reliable as time can.
Unfortunately it’s primarily those places where most people live that are the most destroyed ones. You have to be able to travel some distance to enjoy nature (or the managed green lands we call “nature” these days).
So tl;dr: The future is shit?
And of course even in this meme the ESA logo was omitted.
Have you seen the fucking 'Murica ads before launch? They literally justified and propagated US Exceptionalism by name and talked about how all of this (which they were at least nice enough to mention was a collab with ~50 other countries) creates jobs in America.
It was a god damn propaganda show.
OP must have a humiliation kink or sth. given they still cut off the author from the picture. Not even mentioning the post limit. How much ratio is enough to reach even the most stubborn ones?
The dildo of consequence rarely arrives lubed.

Why trying to get Tanisha when you can become Tanisha.

Hated, the new Systemd component. It replaces sudo cursing at you and occasionally discriminates some users on the system. Once every few years it revokes your admin privileges for some bogus reasons and tells other users false log readings supposed to show that you’re a danger to the system.
I think your compass is a little bit borked. 🫠
The source is even linked ffs
You do realise there are many different jurisdictions om this planet, right? Some fight back more valiant against this shit than others.
Of course it’s still up in the air where which law will be introduced, but assuming every single distro or project has to follow the same laws is naive.

ok so tell me why I’m waiting for networking to come up before I’m allowed to interact with my computer
Because your distro sets up stuff weirdly? At least I never noticed networkd to be a dependency of multi-user.target, could be wrong though.
Also, its monolithic as heck, its a giant squid into my networking, time management, access control…
That’s all optional though, many distros just use it because it’s easier than the alternatives.
Ontop of that… binary logs ew.
Yeah, that’s indeed stupid. No clue why they did that.

Why though, I sure love having a load of script files in a folder doing the boot things.
I can easily add another.
Why system not boot, help

Let’s not split hairs over rhetorics, we also call it “fight against cancer” and even though I’d love to see that bitch jailed it’ll most likely never happen.
You’re generally right of course, we have to choose the right way to fight different kinds of evil.
Only in the US, right?
…right?
Huh? Pretty sure it’s constantly questioned, especially by those who reject systemd. Sometimes that isn’t hate, but well-reasoned (but occasionally badly worded) rejection.
Wasn’t Omarchy made by a fash, TERF or some other kind of extremist? Harmony is great and all, but like with tolerance it can’t be absolute.
Ubuntu gets their well-deserved amount of criticism in my eyes since they still haven’t published the damn Snap server source code (afaik). A distro that had such great ideas in the past like including Amazon ads inside the desktop or silently symlinking apt commands to snap have to do a better job to regain community trust, instead they reject efforts like Flatpak or AppImage and build partial closed-source.
I like harmony too, but please don’t attempt to deligitimise well-reasoned criticism.
