I never had a better system for KDE than Tumbleweed. Definitely my favourite “hasslefree” distro up until now.

As a Swiss, I will take the high speed train in Italy without mich worry. I went from Napoli to Milano in 4h. From there I went to Basel in another 4h for a much shorter distance. I had 2h of time planned in Milano for whatever happens but my Italo service evem ended up being early by 10 minutes!

I tried to do that as well but I realized, that my main use of my Linux desktop which is gaming and having a second screen for whatever else on the side, so usually two fullscreen applications at all times isn’t that well served. I’m sure if I used my PC for more serious multitasking and had limited screen space I would be avle to appreciate Gnome better.

I have the same issue with Java. Oracle JDK, Open JDK or some other weird distribution? Enteprise Servers or a Framework like Springboot? It’s always easier if you’re familiar with the technology.
