One of the things I liked in the recent season of Mushoku Tensei. They’re casting fire spells in a labyrinth and they warn the MC that they’ll suffocate if they use too many.

That’s really just a modern problem. If you were part of a tribe walking out of Africa, you’d never have that problem. Our feet are pretty impressive actually
My cashmere sweater from Nadaam. I have several and they’re comfy, stylish, and super warm. Their OG sweater (of which I own 3) are under $100, but the one I’m talking about is a recycled cashmere (made from leftovers of other products) which is thick and soft and fuckin amazing
Carhartt makes really good wool socks if you want recommendations
I’ve kinda wanted to firebomb EA and Bioware offices for the shit they’ve put my partner through lol. She so desperately wanted DA4 to be a good CRPG, or at least follow close to Inquisition and carry on the story.
The Veilguard has shown none of that and every time something new for that shit show gets shown, I worry she’s going to cry.
I could actually see this being a cantrip for a bard or arcane trickster. It’s almost innocent in its mischief but would be a worthwhile hindrance on the battlefield.
For shoes without laces and creatures without shoes it could simply loop magical string around them.
Prob just a cut to movement with a dex save at the start of every move (like once per turn but they can avoid it by choosing not to move). Doesn’t need to be a high save, but if they fail, they trip.
Since it’s a cantrip they can remove the string with an action, and they last a number of turns equal to caster level.
I’d also love to see a DM be creative with how much it effects certain creatures. Centipede? Probably a little pissed but not too hindered by stumbling on one pair of legs. 1 legged Pete? Completely unaffected as he jumps at you with his 1 leg.
The old addage is “nobody wins a knife fight”. Only solution is to disarm them and you are 99% going to get cut. Just gotta believe you won’t get cut bad enough to stop you from stopping them
From the sounds of witness reports, it was either 1 message setting off a 5-10 second timer, or it was 2 messages in a similar spacing. It was designed to get someone to look at the pager before it blew up in their face. Apparently doctors have been dealing with it blinding shit tons of people.
Jujutsu Kaisen: … (despite the studio’s working conditions)
Hey now, it’s high quality BECAUSE of those working conditions. That show was made with blood, sweat, tears, and a lot more blood. /s
The last one I saw here was over a decade ago and it played Ears Hang Low
I’m all for paying $80-$100 a game IF, REALLY BIG IF, LIKE REALLY FUCKING BIG IF, they’re as good or better than Baldur’s Gate 3. I like his ideas about how this has to happen if we want to eliminate predatory microtransactions, crappy “ultimate” editions, and all that shit.
I fully suspect that we won’t see the full effect BG3 has had for a few years. Games take too long to make for that to not be the case.
I feel that’s almost unfair to LoL. Shitshow of a game it may be, the lore is actually pretty fantastic. It’s also got nothing to do with the game itself which is why I’m waiting on that MMO.
But what if I was out falconing with friends, had a dinner at a super bougie steak house go late, and REALLY have to get to the airport? Surely THAT makes it less insane?
My first instinct was “small, will probably run into the nearest tree at light speed” but I did some reading and they common thought without much science behind it is that sun bear are pretty fuckin aggressive and even tho they’re small, they’d still probably fuck your shit up.
If it wasn’t eligible for the FIX (this is NOT an upgrade, you are entitled to them fixing this shit if it does effect you)maybe it wasn’t the right ignition system? My 2013 Elantra needed it and it seemed to be on the older end of cars who had the vulnerability.
Well yea, because warfare has been a “man’s game” for well over 2000 years. I heard an interview with an undecided (woman) voter who was concerned that, even if western societies are more equal to women, the leaders from countries that don’t give women rights won’t respect her and the US by extension. When the interviewer asked her about powerful women in other countries like Germany, she said it’s different because “those countries” are smaller than the US.
Don’t you know anything fun is pointless And trivial and below me?!
Considering women can and do use vastly different equipment on average (I think it’s toxic masculinity that makes it so guys struggle with the “don’t kill the ball” idea and often need more rigid shafts on their clubs), I think you’re right to clarify and female golfer sounds a thousand times better than woman golfer.
That said, if you aren’t going the gift card route, mix golf and something else and get her a golf towel (has a little ring to attach it to your bag) with some character she likes or something
Okay so as someone who’s getting fed up with Windows and Microsoft as a whole, I’m interested in Linux.
I just wanna game and watch videos. Video calls n such with friends. Nothing too spectacular.
Now can someone who doesn’t work on computers for a living, or even isn’t a hobbyist programmer. Someone like me, who couldn’t write a line of code on their own, answer me how difficult would it actually be?
My biggest fear is that I’m convinced by all the tech nerds here who can of course run this no problem and don’t see why a beginner would struggle, and then my anxiety shoots through the roof while I have a breakdown because I just wanted to get home from work and relax and suddenly my PC is a paperweight.
If Elon Musk wanted to use his company to be a dipshit and fling his car into space, why not?
The EPA and other regulators could control them better, but whatever ventures they choose to make are their own dumb choices. The only ways their dumb PR project intersects with anything NASA related is theyre both doing space things and NASA happens to give them contracts (which is how they’re able to afford to launch a car into space as a PR stunt).
