14·6 days agoYes, but both tree species tend to live fast and die young, so they can be used to provide first-generation forest protection until the second-generation trees can grow up.
Seriously, who’s OOP? Leonardo DiCaprio?

Don’t kid yourself; they absolutely will. Going by our history, though, if they can they’ll do it to a black neighborhood first.

And let us not forget the Vanport flood, which the Portland authorities downplayed for decades and used as an excuse to pave over a vibrant community to make a raceway and a golf course. They only recently admitted that there was ‘some’ loss of life.

Or, hot take, a company that sells clothes with pockets makes less money than a company that sells clothes without pockets and then offers ladies $50-150 purses to compensate. If you think the fashion industry hasn’t noticed that, you’re crazy.
It’s like how the American auto industry noticed they could make more money selling big vehicles and so all of them just stopped making smaller cars. Plenty of Americans say they want smaller cars, but the American auto makers don’t care.
No, it’s definitely a thing, and trends more in clothes geared to older women. When I shopped at Forever 21 back when I was in my 20s, I was a size 4-6; when I shopped at REI I was a size 4. When I shopped at Chicos, on the other hand, which caters almost exclusively to older women, I was a size 0. And sometimes even that was too big on me.
They want us to all go back to saying things like ‘she’s in a delicate condition’ and shit lol

But seriously, meat gives a lot of easily-digestible protein, so when you cut it out your body starts to throw energy cravings everywhere, and fats and sugars are another easy-access energy source, so your body pushes hard for those.
I’ve found it helps to eat more smaller meals through the day to keep my energy up and my cravings low, if I haven’t been hitting up heavy-protein foods like beans.
Great little bit on that in this episode of Tasting History.

My aunt’s cat was basically a neighborhood cat lol. I remember once we were taking a stroll around the neighborhood together and happened to look in one of the neighbor’s windows… and there he was, stretched out on the back of the couch, watching football with the neighbor.
When she moved out everyone came by to say goodbye to her cat lol
