America fired ToysRUs for this very reason.
It looks fine for me. You should be able to upload to your lemmy instance as well.
I think it’s true because the most miserable and shitty people seem to be the ones who live to be 100. People like Dick Cheney and Henry Kissinger
It’s not just the bandwidth that’s the issue it’s the amount of data as many people have datacaps.
The article says:
official Microsoft bandwidth recommendation for that game was 50 Mb/s.
which comes out to 23GB/hr. That can add up quick. 10 hours in a month equates to 20% of my cap with Comcast.
This also neglects people who live in rural areas that might not even have 50Mbps available and can’t play because MS streams half the game to you rather than include it in the install files.
Also *Mb/s not MB/s
You don’t come up with an idea, announce it to the world, and then start figuring out how to implement it.
Maybe in an ideal world but that’s not the world we live in.
Do you really think Amazon wants to pay humans to be cashiers?
No but if they spend a bunch of money and time designing it, spend a bunch of time and money retrofitting stores, and then a bunch of time and money marketing it and the technology doesn’t actually work when it’s ‘showtime,’ I can easily see a company with deep pockets like Amazon faking it all by hiring dirt cheap labor to make it seem like it works rather than the alternative.
On the lemmynsfw instance, are they referred to as step-sister communities?
Fair enough but I still view it differently than being locked out of using actual OEM features of the car. I do find this unsurprising though based on the metric fuckton of spam you get from SiriusXM after buying any new or used car from a legit dealer.
Your SiriusXM subscription doesn’t go to the manufacturer of the car. This is what they referred to as aftermarket subscriptions in their comment. It isn’t any different than if I subscribe to spotify Snr then connect my phone to the car to use it.
It’s probably the same guy who made the “I did that” Biden stickers.
They’re talking about having hooks put in their back and being suspended in the air from them.
85MPH as that is as high as my speedometer reads in my 92 Camaro.
Sounds like a helluva night.
It took me multiple reads to realize you weren’t talking about dirtbike shocks (suspension), doing dirtbike tricks (a superman), and receiving a back injury (6 hooks in the back). It sounded like you were advocating for people to buy quality suspension components if they’re going to do big jumps and tricks on their dirtbike.
My cynical view is that this is a campaign promise that even if passed, won’t lead to anything of benefit for the average citizen. My solidly blue state has price gouging laws and yet businesses were permitted to price gouge water, charging as much as $60 for a 12 pack of bottles, when we had a toxic algae bloom in our water supply and couldn’t drink it a few years ago. Hundreds of complaints were filed and the governor went on the news said they couldn’t substantiate any of it, even with photo evidence, and none of the companies were punished or at most were sent a letter to “knock it off” even though residents were still having to pay these insane prices if they weren’t able to drive hours away to find normally priced bottled water.
I think if we had an actual left-wing party, I’d have a different view, but instead, we have right-wing and diet-right-wing
Wouldn’t a company VPN bypass all that even though you are using your own internet connection to connect to the outside world?
Can’t install extensions on a work machine but you can add a network wide blocker?
I think this is instance dependent. Midwest.social is super slow for me frequently and times out a lot depending on the time of day.
Counterpoint is that this recall can be done OTA instead of requiring you to make an appointment and visit a dealership which is a million times more convenient. Your car has had recalls too.
Hopper’s daughter seen only in flashback scenes? Clickbait.
