  • I think that’s a complicated question. It’s both yes and no. Yes, we should nationalize them. No, nationalizing them should not be by tRump. That sets the precedent, or at least reinforces, the concept that the architecture of industry can be nationalized as payback for petty political squabbling. They should be nationalized, however, because fElon has proven himself to be unstable, reckless, petty, and a risk to the nation.

  • I have a galaxy. I disabled the Galaxy AI. I disabled the Google AI on my phone, and I blocked Google search AI. I disabled Microsoft AI. I think ATT has one that listens in on calls to warn you of a call being a scam, but I haven’t figured out how to disable that. Many of my calls are privileged under atty/client privilege, so have someone or something else in on that risks waving that. I want to disable it, but I don’t know how. I tried to disable Yahoo’s email AI. But, now there is yet more AI for me to disable?

Dear tech companies, please stop shoving AI down my throat. I really don’t want it.

  • Disable all ai being on by default. Offer me a way to opt into having ai, but don’t shove it down my throat by default. I don’t want google ai listening in on my calls without having the option to disable it. I am an attorney, and many of my calls are privileged. Having a third party listen in could cause that privilege to be lost.

I want ai that is stupid. I live in a capitalist plutocracy that is replacing workers with ai as fast and hard as possible without having ubi. I live in the United States, which doesn’t even have universal health insurance. So, ubi is fucked. This sets up the environment where a lot of people will be unemployable through no fault of their own because of ai. Thus without ubi, we’re back to starvation and hoovervilles. But, fuck us. They got theirs.

Few things about trees in cities: (1) tree roots ruin sidewalks because they upend that stuff; (2) tree roots get into and ruin infrastructure, (3) not every curb can sustain a tree, so these could fit where a tree could not; and (4) they damage stuff when they fall over in storms.
