To help stem the downvotes from people who don’t understand, if you take a picture of a vase with various mm lenses from the same distance and then crop to the size of the vase, every picture will be the same. It’s only distance that matters. Taking 20 pictures in a grid really close to your face with a telephoto lens and stitching them together into a single picture will result in a wide angle shot.

People died and I also got divorced
Obligatory bidet comment. You don’t have to wipe like you’re trying to get peanut butter out of carpet. All shits become the same with a bidet, whether a short sticky stoagie or a hot wet mess of diarrhea. Imagine trying to clean a mud snowman off your driveway with a pressure washer. It can do anything.
That was me. Leave the house at 8 AM, get home after midnight, every place pressuring you to eat a full large meal and why you gotta leave soooo early.
The fact the snitcher worked at McDonald’s is completely irrelevant. Corporate didn’t make them do it. That person doesn’t represent the entire company and their views. It’s just a fuckin person. They could have recognized him, smiled to themselves and moved on and McDonald’s would never have known a thing about it.
Finally a non-braindead comment.

Afghanistan and Vietnam come to mind.
This is called an avoidant attachment system and it’s not rosy like the comic wants to suggest.
Yeah, this feels like silliness rather than malice.
SuspiciousUser@lemmy.mlto Greentext@sh.itjust.works•Anon is struck by the state of the education systemEnglish8·1 year agoDefinitely real, I did it in the 90s and hated it. You don’t take your shirt off, you keep your arms in, but you raise the front behind your neck so it all bunches up at the top. I was chubby then and that was definitely a core memory of self-consciousness.

SuspiciousUser@lemmy.mlto Technology@lemmy.world•Why Everyone Should Still Use an RSS Reader in 2024English7·1 year agoI love TinyTinyRSS (self hosted) and lire for iOS which syncs with it. Very powerful setup. I have issues with overusing social media sites so I have sites like Lemmy do the “Top Week” and so on for areas I’m interested in.
Put a curved screen on everything, microwave your thanksgiving turkey, put EVERYTHING including hot dogs, ham, and olives in gelatin. Only useful things will have AI in them in the future and I have a hard time convincing the hardcore anti-ai crowd of that.
