I’ve been playing A free Zelda Rogue-like and A fast-paced, Rogue-like FPS: Mullet Madjack
Both are fantastic games with a lot of replay value!

Couldn’t these easily triangulate a location since there’s a long string of satellites?
They’d have to modify the tv app.
Not op, but I think a solution would be having AI watch the videos and tracking what the people are saying, wearing, using etc and posting links to purchase those things in the description. They get a cut of sales and can also sell links for competing products if companies want more exposure. This could be effective and noninvasive. Give a cut to content creators and it may be even more effective.
A working clock is always right!
What’s compression?
My thoughts would be presented based the fact that you’ve asked me to calculate something. At that point, past experiences would guide my path forward. If I felt like doing math, I may do it, if I had poor childhood experiences in math class, I probably wouldn’t. At the end of the day, it’s all based on history or current questions/feelings. In every scenario my thoughts are presented to me. To prove it, ask yourself what your next thought will be. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll see you can’t answer that question and when you try and force a thought direction, that direction itself is based on your knowledge from the past and that thought was also presented to you.
It’s wild because it absolutely feels like we have free will, but it sure doesn’t look like it. 🤷♂️
Do we have free will to think a given thought? All of my thoughts just suddenly appear in my mind or are connected to previous thoughts that suddenly appeared in my mind.
Steam is clunky… Exit -> Oh you want to exit? Let me launch a new window letting you know I’m shutting down and take about 20 seconds while I was sitting here idle before you asked to shutdown.
See you tomorrow where I’ll validate your games again. Just in case!
With machines, just remember the “clicks” or “notches” to compare progress. You’ll never really know the real weight because who knows the maintenance on them and the amounts of friction per machine that are inherent let alone the pivot points that allow for leverage that can vary.
Careful Nintendo. If backing up a game I purchased and playing it any way I want is stealing, then I might as well skip the first step.
I think it’s mostly because it’s in Arizona… Not exactly the tech capital of the U.S…
Their lead investigator will surely sniff this one out!
/I’m going to hell!
Respect upvote. Can we have this be our culture in Lemmy?
Shout out to Streamio + real-debrid + torrentio! 🖤🏴☠️
I’m guessing speaking or typing: “note” “pad” “notepad” “how do I write a note?” “Write something down” would all work.
To be fair this would probably be the same speed as me hitting windows key + R and typing “notepad”.
As a programmer, I’m pretty sure I understand computers. It all comes down to who you trust because at the end of the day we all have smart phones with us just about 24/7 with the potential to access just about every aspect of our lives in real-time. Personally, I don’t really trust any company so I limit what I put into my smart phone.
I’m a tech guy and don’t give a crap about the sweeping motion of a watch hand. I’d rather have a watch that tells me the time, date, my messages, and vitals while also being able to configure how it looks plus change that any time I like. Way more useful than, “Wow, look at that hand sweep by!”
I guess I just don’t “get it” when it comes to watches like this. Is there something I’m missing?
Mark that one down. 💀
