6·2 months ago- Super Mario Bros. X is a Mario fan-game remake that uses lots of assets from the SNES era of Mario games (Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario RPG).
- Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a Sonic fan game made from the Doom engine, inspired by the Sega Genesis era of Sonic games.
They’re both open-source.
