4·1 year agoYou’re right, we do have to drive to get anywhere outside of major cities. The funny thing is that even the most rural area has a fleet of busses and routes that cover every home. The problem is that they only come through twice a day on weekdays during the school year. Other than that these busses just sit around forcing old folks who can’t to drive anyway.
No one in a real city or suburb is driving 40 minutes to get groceries in the US.

Nah, Apu’s PhD is in comp sci. The joke is his extensive education. It sucks that so many very talented and educated folks have to start a business to legally stay in the US.
Apu learned in post-grad glasses that it was complicated again.
