I’m out of the loop on Reddit, but I was beyond a power user on there two years ago. Back then, if every human user on the site stopped using the site, the admins would not have noticed any difference because nearly every post was bot networks reposting old top posts and filling the comments with the exact comments from the last time it got upvoted.
Garbage website. I miss it for what it was capable of for a while there.
Soul crushing. I’m incredibly good at the job but every morning, I look at my case queue and the shotgun on my shelf starts glowing purple.
I wouldn’t have been good at any other career, but maybe I could have been happy while floundering.
I’ve always had an obsession with maps, which as an adult has brought me to wanting to visit the “extremes” of the world. Far north, far south points of things. But I’m not the adventurous type so a lot of those places are just never going to happen. Nuuk has always been high on my list of places that would be neat, while not being impossible to get to comfortably.
This fucking rules.

Sounds pretty incredible. When I met my lost brother years back, we found out he was kind of an asshole.
Professors are burned and jaded so much by students taking advantage of their test taking policies that they fail to see when there should absolutely be an exception. Visible medical emergencies are certainly one of them. They should not only not be professors, they should be fired or arrested for endangering you. It’s crazy that sort of thing can just happen, but it’s absolutely realistic having been through it.
Years ago, a buddy got me going to his gym so he could show me the ropes. He’d been lifting most of his life and I really trusted him. It was the sort of gym where people go to do serious work. A lifter’s lifting gym. Everyone there looked so serious and were pressing so much weight. I have never been that sort.
But they were all incredibly kind to me. Helped me when they thought I needed it. Never in a demeaning way. Any bad vibes I got from them was pretty much on me.
Those were really cool times. The gym would shut down about two years later and I haven’t really gone to a gym since.

I’ve heard pretty mid songs that turned out to be incredible albums and I’ve heard amazing songs where it’s the only good track. But I always try to listen to an entire album in most cases. There’s so much good music out there, just under the surface.
I’m naming my kid Dangle-balls.
I’m so happy others remember this one. It’s so good. They had other ones, too. Very consistent artists.
