Personally after 3 pages I close the app because I notice that I’ve been spending way too much time on it. Infinite scroll makes you forget how much time you spend on it.


And while online shopping never buy something immediately, always wait until the next day.


It doesn’t sound like you don’t care about your image/reputation.


Or some far away dude yelling something in the background.


I watch every movie and show with subtitles. It’s just easier because I don’t have to turn the volume up so much and I can eat while watching without missing any dialogue and if someone talks over I still don’t miss anything. Sometimes there are snippets in dialogue I’m not even sure you are supposed to hear them but you can still read them in the subtitles.


That’s a weird way to look at happy people. I feel happy with my life but that doesn’t mean that I don’t care or are ignorant of the world around me. It maybe just means that I recognize that I don’t need to spend energy on things I can’t influence and I can spend that energy on things to make my own life happy.

I don’t agree with this article. Everyone I know usually upgrades their GPU until the CPU is bottlenecking it heavily and that is only the case after a few GPU upgrades.
The least he could do would be to just say that he is done developing the Lemmy app. Just vanishing is a dick move.
