I recently went in because I had a thunderclap headache, thought it was about to die from a brain aneurysm. No insurance. They did 1 CT scan and billed me for a Head CT, Neck CT and a Cervical Spine CT, each costing over $3K. After months of calling their billing department I ended up having to setup a payment plan before they sent it to collections. Not a single person in the billing department, up to and including the head of billing, could tell me the difference between a neck CT and a cervical spine CT. Still on the hook for over $11K. Probably going to have to file for bankruptcy soon. My life is effectively over.

I was in a dollar store the other day that had 2 GIANT posters on the front doors saying “NO CASH” “We cannot accept cash payments at this time” and while I was in there I saw 3 people get told they can’t accept cash and then the shoppers left the store in a huff.

Just watched this movie today and loved it. Don’t understand the hate in the comments. Oompa Lumpa song and dance, check. Crazy chocolates that make people float and shit, check. Willy Wonka doing weird shit and near-magical feats, check. It’s a great movie.

Looks like someone sprayed herbicide on the grasses in the photo. Likely native grasses that the person in the photo has been trying to revive to benefit the local ecology.
