What the hell are these map? Ancestry dna is not more scientific than astrology
Do you speak French? Do you visit family in France? A story about a famous French ancestor? If not why would it be relevant?
Read the wiki, experiment, and improve it.
But indeed, CAD is a very specific way of thinking, and if you haven’t done any technical drawing course you won’t find it by yourself
Basic math. I don’t talk about solving differential equation. But if you don’t want to get scammed you need to understand what’s a 10% discount, how do interest work, price per kg, or price per m^2
This stay, IMO, the big question mark. At which point does maintaining an aged machine is more expensive than building new one. Especially when 20 years are needed to build a new one (including 10 years of legal paperwork, trials and appeals)
Distance too. I used a surveyor for some precision measument, and their theodolite has 20 micrometer of systematic error.
Have you seen these people with a weird tripod on construction sites ? They’re surveyor and have tools allowing them to do very precise measure (A guy told me that one of the coolest things he has done was to make sure railway track were aligned below 1mm on both side of 2 km bridge to build) I would expect that drawing a circle isn’t that complicated.
Then the rest is usual road construction, add temporary marking, close the road, do the measurement and build the roundabout
The anomaly isn’t that the plane was struck by lightning, it’s that it loose all control surfaces.
Thunderstorm can cause huge up/down draft + haze and therefore aren’t recommended even for airliner (which typically would need inspection after being stuck inside) but shit happens
I think you’re under estimated how much fossil fuel are used and the electricity production from solar and wind farm.
It’s definitely possible to replace all fossil fuel by electricity, but it’s a massive shift involving multiple nuclear power plants (or the green equivalent which is even more expensive/complicated) , not a few windfarm and solar panel over the parking lot. And today there is no political will to do such massive investment, let alone the NIMBY

Have you tried PBTA games, because the whole consequences things really push that kind of play
It’s not about who has to change their character concept. But about building a party which can work together.A session zero and common character creation is universal seen as a good practice
I’ve seen campaigns where players had to actively avoid PvP due to big difference in goal/loyalties/alignment. Let’s avoid the my family hates your familytrope.
Then, indeed, not doubling the skills or have skills not matching the campaign. You don’t want to have 5 pilots for one space ship. Especially if it means you don’t have a social character.
There is more character I’d like to play than games where I could play them, so not that much of a problem anyway
The problem is that while combat focused PC have armour, high initiative, multiple attack per round, and don’t fail their roll. You’re like acting at the end of the round, once when other PC do it 3 times, fail your attack and as soon as you get hit you’re unconscious. The cool part of putting the big combat at the end of the session is that you can take a nap, and have the GM waking you up at 5 combat is over, let’s give the XP and the first train homes leaves in 30 minutes
Missing
The didn’t listen when the GM talked about Theme and mood and end up with a character who doesn’t fit with the party/canpaign
The traitor, you know the Scorpion/Tremere who will betray the party at every possible occasion and stab any PC showing their back
-The hero, who feel like their main character
And many more
And then there is band like Dream theatre or the the deer hunter who use complex chords and harmonies
Actually, I think that the answer of OP question is that Metal is an incredibly large genre wich can blend with every possible genre, here is a metal band playing Take five
While killing PC for the sake of killing them is, usually, abad practice. PC need to feel the risk of dying when doing dangerous stuff. It changes the way you play, if you know that a knife can kill you. Sure your skill mean you’ll most likely win the fight or one shot that kid before they move, but if they pull a knife it’s not just 1d4 over your 100 HP but a potential injury or death if you don’t use your skills
Sounds like pretty reasonable.
Actually I am surprised that there is (still) game not turning enemy unconscious upon “critical hit” or “high damage”, it’s both a way to make combat more dangerous and have a safety breaker to not kill a PC
Mimicking a patented process is also grounds for a lawsuit.
Just note that at lest within EU, pure software patents are illegals. It’s still a bit tricky because you want to sell globally (including places with software patent) and that it’s possible to patent device/process using software. So, to my understanding you can’t patent let’s say A game where you build a maze and put tower to defend-it, and use XP to make your tower bigger, but you can’t patent let’s say a device using sensor, servo an algorithm to let a car drive itself.
There is more planes undersea than submarine in the air.
Technically speaking, the physics of control surface is the same underwater, so it should work not that bad, just replace the reactor by a ship prop and let’s sea
Fun toy to play with, but everytime I tried to use is for real work, it ended up so bad that I spent more time than doing it properly from scratch
