I use Gboard because I can’t find another keyboard with good japanese 9 key flick typing.
I had no clue those were a thing, thanks for letting me know. Does the dock require additional software on windows as well?
USB docking station should be supported (unless it’s one of those external battery ones that plug into the bottom of the laptop). Remoting into work is fine but depends on the setup. For example, openssh with rdp works fine, can’t vouch for other solutions but I’m sure you could get them working.
Edit: I have been informed that displaylink docks require additional software. I didn’t even know those were a thing so I don’t know how difficult it would be to setup.
Especially considering the news on poor adoption rates for windows 11, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case. It could also be an explanation as to why we are only seeing these ads added to w11 right now.
I wish the game was as good as the cinematics
I don’t really know what I’ll do. I currently have to dual boot windows 10 for work since I do unreal game dev. I guess push for managers to allow me to setup a Linux dev env? But Linux binaries for third party plugins arent always there. That’s where I got stuck last time I tried.
I think there are a multitude of reasons for why it may not be doing well, but personally I had no clue it was coming out this month, I don’t trust my PC to be able to run it (rtx 3070 isn’t enough for a lot of high fidelity games these days), and I got hellblade 1 at full price and beat it in under 6 hours. I’m looking forward to playing it at a lower price and on better hardware in 4 years or something.
TIL, I had no clue why we call this arbitrary important file a file stab, but fs tab makes sense now. F stab is more fun to say though (but has probably confused more than just me)
I’ll definitely be giving it a shot again in the future! I love the idea of a Vivaldi style experience based off Firefox.
I gave this a shot about a month ago because it had some features I found interesting, but it felt unstable. The ui also seemed half baked / didn’t mesh well with modern Firefox which made it feel like an early alpha product rather than something for daily use. The project has some really great ideas though so I hope it gets more fleshed out.
I’m having the same issue here.
I was hitting the website link in the email rather than the verify link.
As a game dev in Japan, I can tell you nobody I’ve met has given any concern to pc ports, and it has been a royal pita to get anybody to care to the point of making me question staying in the industry.
Look up black hat cooperative! It’s vr but sounds pretty similar to what you after describing.
Every time I’ve had a windows install come with my computer, there has been a sticker somewhere with the serial key. I’ve even been able to reuse that key for other computers before.
I have simforge pedals, vrs direct drive wheel, a Chinese knock off h pattern shifter, and a moza Hand break. The hand break is the only one that works without any tinkering. I couldn’t get the pedals to work at all, and the wheel doesn’t register properly so I haven’t been able to get that working either sadly.
I wish I could fully abandon my windows partition, but sadly my sim racing peripherals don’t all work on Linux, and I bought those before I started thinking about switching.
Purely theoretical as I don’t have any sources on how cars are doing this, but they could be communicating over low band networks similar to how Amazon home devices make a mesh network. Your car could send data to another car of the same manufacturer, who then phones home that data.
I really feel there would be a market for something like star citizen without all the realism stuff that gets in the way of the gameplay. I’m a backer, and when I can get to playing the game it’s fun, but finding my way to the launch pad after every two years break when I’m trying to checkup on progress sucks.
