Voyager@lemmy.world•[Bug] Blocking a comm in feeds jumps up the feed.English
3·4 days ago+1 for this as I encounter it regularly. I would also just prefer no refresh so I can keep my place in the feed, that would be more important than ensuring the feed immediately reflects the block.
Good thread, since I hate a lot of “new” things. It’ll be good to read about the good ones.
I’ll add: GrapheneOS (and other custom phone OSes) giving us a choice besides being tracked by the big corpos.
Ultimately I want to completely replace Plex because it’s enshittifying and I am migrating to FOSS solutions wherever possible.
However it is very convenient with Plex since it handles the server and client ends very seamlessly, and the PlexAmp apps are really superb, especially for non technical family users.
Lidarr to get music, PlexAmp to listen to it. Might migrate to Navidrome in the future.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•With all this talk about Ai not being profitable why aren't we using it in video games? I dont mean replacing developers I mean in NPCs in the game. I make them more realistic.English
3·16 days agoI’d figure that small models could be run locally and even incorporated into the local game code without needing to use a big company’s API, if they wanted to.

Active BT & WiFi radios can be used to identify you and track your movement, so I tend to keep them off whenever not in use. I do try to have it automated but I often need to manually toggle it.
