Nah, most push and riding mowers are definitely 4 stroke. You’re absolutely correct that 2 strokes need to burn oil and create some visible smoke (to be properly lubricated). Only small, powered equipment (such as trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws) are still commonly made with 2 strokes. My smoking push mower was made in the mid 1980’s and is miraculously still running. It apparently has worn seals that are allowing crankcase oil into the combustion chamber.
Mine burns a little oil, so I just keep adding it. That way it gets a perpetual oil change. guytappinghead.jpg
This takes me back. Y’all made me recall running Trillian Pro with a cracked loader. Oh, and what about DeadAIM?! I feel ashamed (as a current FOSS fan) that I didn’t switch to Pidgin until after pirating all the popular AIM alternatives.
There’s no reason to trust any homebrew or cracked Windows ISO. Just go with Win 10 LTSC. All the bullshit is removed and it has support until 2027. MAS flawlessly activates it. Linux is indeed the better option, and I’ll be heading that way soon enough.
I’m certain I initially saw the screen you just posted. I hit “Use a different app” and hit Camera, then later chose Always. Any idea how to alter that double tap behavior to a different camera app (that’s not built into Graphene)? That’s the situation I’m in now. Thanks!
I’m unable to disable that app (app.grapheneos.camera). Its greyed out. I assume I did get a prompt initially asking me to “Complete action using Camera” and I hit “Always.” That was before I found and installed the Google camera (com.google.android.GoogleCamera). So I’m still stumped how to alter that double-tap “Open by default” to a different, non-built-in camera app (and I can’t seem to find anything in settings). Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to know. Thanks all!
I agree that you should be able to change which app opens with double tap. But AFAICT you cannot on GrapheneOS build 2024082200. Someone please enlighten me, if you know a way.
People metabolize approximately 1 drink per hour. 8 drinks over 4 hours should still leave you pretty damn tipsy.
You can still install the Google camera app alongside the GrapheneOS camera app. Double tapping power button still takes you to the built in camera (but you at least have the option of either app). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera
Gadgetbridge is a free and open source Android application that allows you to pair and manage various gadgets such as smart watches, bands, headphones, and more without the need for the vendor application. So in short, you can use Gadgetbridge instead of relying on your gadget’s own proprietary app.
Thanks! It does indeed look like people try out Linux before the new Windows release. Then it returns to the slower adoption trend.
Someone should add major Windows releases on the X axis. There’s gotta be some correlation.
My dad needed a CT scan this evening and the local ER’s system for reading the images was down. So they sent him via ambulance to a different hospital 40 miles away. Now I’m reading tonight that CrowdStrike may be to blame.
People are people and borders are arbitrary.
Do Win 10 LTSC users still get shoveled this shit? I’m asking for a friend.
Yup. I had to patch 19.09.37 and I’m back to working. Also microG 0.3.1.3.240913.
Win 11 license is tied to your motherboard. Switching anything besides that won’t change anything. Did you do a fresh install without Internet when you swapped your mobo? Besides that: you could go with Win 10 (preferably LTSC). Your only other option is to ditch Win for an OS that verifiably respects your privacy.
Well, today I learned Russia is converting dinosaur juice into 6,200 disposable soldiers each month. That’s depressing as fuck.
