I think most people that condemn war crimes don’t try to excuse them from one , certainly thats not the perspective od human rights groups like HRW or Amnesty.

The United States and Russia and Ukraine and Israel and Palestine and every State that has committed war crines or crimes against humanity should have their dates at the ICC

Thats not to say all war crimes were quantitatively equal. The scale of what Israel has done to Palestine far outweighs what Palestine has done to Israel. That itself is a war crime.

Ideally we would dissolve all States. I certainly can’t think of any good ones.
