I kinda get that they’ll do whatever than can to shut down an emulator for a console still selling and available on the shelves though. Not that there aren’t legitimate cases for it (homebrew software and games), but that’s not what Nintendo is concerned about.
But screw that for legacy consoles, game preservation is important too.
I really hope WPEngine flips the bird at them and forks the WP project.
If I had a monitor to dedicate for each, sure, but I prefer using all my monitors for either systems I’m using, plus my work computer is on a dedicated network on a VPN tunnel so that wouldn’t work well for that anyway.
For the docking station I got a WD19TB from Dell provided by my employer, and for the KVM I managed to find this one that does 3xDP v1.4 to ensure it supports VRR (I’m only using two monitors, but it’s nice to have the extra capacity), has three USB ports (to plug the mouse, keyboard and webcam) and has an audio out + mic in so that my headset follows the computer I’m using.
I made sure to use good DP cables to make sure the capabilities of the KVM and my hardware are always met, and so far it’s been quite smooth.
A good docking station plus KVM for a good work & home setup since the pandemic hit.
I can dock my work laptop when I work from home and have my two screens, ergonomic keyboard, mouse, webcam etc all attached in one go, then a single button on my desk to toggle to my gaming desktop and start playing without having to disconnect anything, reducing wear and tear on the connectors.
So they could just transform .io to a gTLD without causing any downtime.

Considering how most of the Internet is encrypted with TLS, if you add DNSSEC+DoH/DoT on top, trying to MITM someone on a public WiFi is way harder than it was, unless you’re a state-level adversary and you’re able to craft valid certificate for a domain you don’t control from a globally trusted (root) certificate autority (which will lose its trusted status quite fast once discovered, ex: CNNIC)

On Android, I use Redirect AMP to HTML and the essential uBlock Origin.
On desktop, I use MarkDownload to quickly convert and format webpages and snippets of text in markdown format.
I use the cookiebanners.service.mode entry in about:config set to 2, seems like to work well for me.

I use them for our printed version of our documentation, each document has a cover page with a QR code pointing to the latest version of the electronic copy.
Handy during an outage, and you don’t have to search for the online copy.
Or if you want something more turnkey, a Steam Deck. Want more flexibility? Put Bazzite on it.
That you don’t have admin access to. Good for not fucking it up, bad for freedom.
It’s just that it’s hard to actually quantify, so the shareholders will prefer to go with enforcement that forces people to buy the games and console than taking a risk on hypotheticals.
Personally, I never bought a Wii U/Switch and played my fair share of games through emulation only.
