Even effects-forward pieces like Jurassic Park still hold up because everyone on the island is a memorable character and the plot is exciting! Though it’s true that the constraints on effects might have caused that - the dinosaurs in that movie only had about 15 minutes of total screen-time, so they had to actually, y’know, write.
Even though my vaxxes are up to date, I caught the new variant recently. It was pretty nasty - a lot like strep throat.
Yep. One Pace basically just uses the manga for the storyboards without the extra bloat (though some exclusive anime segments got kept if they added to the experience), and the whole thing ends up being 40% shorter overall - and more importantly, it’s more dynamic and exciting to watch.

Someone with finger joint issues should probably stay away from cajon - it’s a knuckle-rapping simulator.
Given the history of the series, I find this to be pretty endearing. I have fond memories of playing the multi-disc Baldurs Gate 1 on PC as a child. It’s kinda fun to see that today’s gamers will have a similar experience with the same series nearly 30 years later.

I recently attended a polyamorous wedding where one pair of individuals in the polycule were formalizing their individual bond/commitment to each other (but both still remaining in the larger structure of the 5-6 person polyromantic/polyamorous constellation.) It was cute! All the other members of the group walked the bride and groom down the aisle and gave cute best-man-style speeches instead of a religious ceremony.
I enjoyed the event and they all seemed really happy.

In my Call of Cthulhu campaign, a character received a cathartic, romantic love letter from his long-distance sweetheart NPC. And then the PC was killed in one shot by a sniper in the next episode before being able to write back.
It’s a lot. The dice are cruel sometimes in high-lethality systems but it’s made a great tragedy for the other party members- they have to share the bad news when they get back to town, and that’s some juicy horror/drama roleplaying.
I feel like ATC is one of those pattern-recognition constraint-satisfaction problem jobs where a (non-generative!) algorithm can probably do a pretty good job.
