Yeah, I might actually end up disabling swap in the end. I wanted to update that apparently I “fixed” the problem (not sure if permanently) by turning off the pc, unplugging the PSU, and holding down the power button for 30 seconds. Normal reboots weren’t enough. I’ll take it for now.

I can’t understand how the shadows and reflections are so accurate (not perfect, but convincing) like here or here.

This is so much better than all text-to-video models currently available. I’m looking forward to read the paper but I’m afraid they won’t say much about how they did this. Even if the examples are cherry picked, this is mind blowing!

I say this almost daily lol

Gotta say that the very NON-tech savvy people I know had one of these reactions to the change:

• they didn’t even notice;
• they like it better now;
• they don’t care at all as they never open it.

That’s almost impossible.

They’re not gonna have a Windows situation with 2 settings apps, and they have no good reason to revert their changes, since it would be against the unification of the interface across iOS and macOS they’ve been pushing hard for years.

What do you mean by ‘fix’?

I haven’t noticed any noteworthy differences, by the way.
