Lots of things listed that, while fun, are pretty touristy. As a local I feel like I avoid those areas but here’s some food/drink spots you might check out:
Seaport:
Drink
I haven’t been here since COVID and some staff changes. But used to be a great bar. $$$$
Bar Taco
these are apparently a chain, but pretty good food $$
Row34
Great seafood. But expensive $$$$$
Back Bay Area:
Faccia A Faccia
great pasta. Close enough to the airport. Around a bunch of shopping if you want touristy things after $$$
Bar Paloma in the basement has great drinks and staff. $$$
Hecate
bar with great drinks. $$$$$
Cambridge (Harvard/MIT area):
Take the red line toward Harvard/MIT. Hop off at Central and walk either direction.
Pammys
- really good food $$$$
Little Donkey
- also great food $$$
Brookline:
Go check out Coolidge Corner. Bunch of local shops and some food. Take the Green Line (C branch) towards Cleveland Circle and exit at Coolidge Corner
Fenway:
I will second that Tasty Burger is amazing. There is also a couple cool museums around there. The MFA and the Isabella Stewart Gardner.
