Jokes on you, I was testing my null hypothesis
Jokes on you, I was testing my null hypothesis
Right? People saying things should be improved and we should do better are all mad
Mad I tell you
Mad!
…consisting of guys born to a fantastic level of wealth who all have to pretend inequality doesn’t exist in any capacity what so ever in order to make any of their theories work.
A little but what most people don’t seem to be aware of is that most war spending far outstrips what was spent on lockdown etc. Yet, for some reason, this lesser amount is meant to be the cause of all economic misfortune right now.
Countries can cope with things like that well enough. The problem is, we’re no longer taxing the rich to pay for things, the way we always used to, anymore and most counties have been asset stripped by those very same people they used to tax properly.
Sounds like they slipped and fell
Of course, you do you. But, traditionally, in these situations people would just not read the comment and move on. They wouldn’t announce to everyone that they won’t be reading it because it’s a weird thing to do. I mean, could you imagin everyone writing that under every comment they didn’t read?
That would be a bit silly wouldn’t it?
Lol yeah but mine was halo…
OK, now hear me out first
Reddit is the halo of social media.
The wildness you used to get up to on the multilayer was on a new level. There was nothing like that before. On one level you were fighting back the orange hordes from the front pages, the next level you were fighting wealth hording dragons and ripping them off by playing them at their own game. On the last level they let you have freedom on, they were gearing up to try and kill a god. I mean, I don’t know how far antiwork would have gone in the end but it seemed to have been estimated far enough that action had to be taken and the threat neutralised. We might well not have killed that particular God but I reckon we could’ve given them a bloody nose all the same.
Then they parted ways with the people who actually made the game good and what you ended up with is a shite, soulless over corporatised shell of what it was before, thats little more than the skins from a game you used to enjoy transposed into one that you don’t.
The shrapnel shell is the king of this. Decided nearly ever war since its invention.
They’re going to build right up to the river they told everyone to get north of.
Youre talking a lot of shit for someone in “dreadhed” distance

Again, if you want to make up your own definition of middle class, then you’re right.
By everyone else’s, you’re not.
The rest is just noise.
But some who has earned a penny in interest has spent time as both worker and owner.
Its not that you’ve shifted it. I agree there. Its that your using sweeping terms that include things like earning a penny in interest that, in order to not sound ridiculous, has to have caveated to a point that:
No, the idea is that the middle class (defined in the conventional way) spends time in both the “worker” category and the “owner” category.
Doesn’t reflect where it ends up at all.
Also, its not the conventional way. You 100% made that up and what you’re describing is petite bougouise.
From wiki
The modern usage of the term “middle-class”, however, dates to the 1913 UK Registrar-General’s report, in which the statistician T. H. C. Stevenson identified the middle class as those falling between the upper-class and the working-class.[13] The middle class includes: professionals, managers, and senior civil servants. The chief defining characteristic of membership in the middle-class is control of significant human capital while still being under the dominion of the elite upper class, who control much of the financial and legal capital in the world.
It would be a very small amount, compared to what they earn over their lifetime. The idea that someone is middle class because they’ve earned a penny in bank interest is absurd.
Or are you planning on coming back with a load of caveats you conveniently left out previously?
It almost makes you wonder how the BBC manage to do live events.
I have to admire the brazenness with which you made up your own utterly unfounded definition of the term “middle class” then, immediately after being called out for it, accuse the person who hadn’t provided any definition of the term of doing exactly what you had just done.
Thats some advanced level bad faith engagement right there.
Its not my definition. Its a different school of thought that has stood up to scrutiny. It is different to what a lot of people would refer to as middle class and, of course, different again from what you, personally describe middle class to be.
I don’t really recognise a middle class but, if one is to exist, it is simply the middle earners of people who work for their money and they’re predominantly white collar workers. That’s all there is to it. What you described is petite bougouise and may well be middle class but not all middle class people are petite bougouise.
Thats not not what middle class means.
Its quite the norm in parts of Europe.
Had it been hard-core (from hell) i may have judged you but, even then, only as an xtc fiend.

Fair warning, it might be jarring on any mellow you might have going on. Eventually, when you’ve been raving long enough, you might find that, from time to time, you’ll need sounds from the bowels of hell at 200 bpm just to feel something.
Imo, the most egregious would be the tories forcing the UK to sell its controlling share in BP, the very second we discovered ALL the oil in the North Sea for a fraction of its cost.
If Putin, trump, Johnson, Blair or Starmer had done it, they would know exactly what they were looking at: corruption.
Theres nothing we can do within our legal framework. If we had any justice in this country, they’d be doing some very hard time.
Edit: although the figures here are a great example of why you should ignore most large companies profit figures. They fiddle them, making them next to useless. If you don’t have access to their cash flow, dividends payouts cuts through the BS just as well.
