I like the idea of pronouncing it hook-ai-rs just for the implications on Ubers becoming u-bears.
“U-bears for hook-ai-rs” makes me chuckle. It’s just the right amount of churches up.
There is also The Crew, Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon as well as Gran Turismo to mention a few more that I have played. Plus a whole slew of hardcore F1 titles, Nascar titles and the Trackmania series.
There might be something in there that catches your attention. Could just be a case of these not surfacing in your algorithm to get noticed.
How quickly can you write up a proposal? We can have GPT get us a mockup of the ui by tomorrow and be ready for production by Friday…
Did I say all of that correctly?
I can’t believe my sleep addled brain read this as “e-scorts” like it was some new gaming thing.
Tale as old as Jeff K
Waiting impatiently for Yahtzee to tear that one apart.
its not a schooner, it’s a sailboat you idiot!
little bitch, you better remember this next time you want wet food.
Interesting that when asked to bring a self founded viewpoint you return to the core conceit despite presenting counter arguments to the contrary in all prior responses.
Once again, what would prove to YOU that someone had a history or resume to be valid in a statement about prior experience in regards to new ventures?
Take the focus off this exact scenario and Bethesda Dev. Throughout the thread, there has been several other scenarios presented but none have hit home with you. What I’m asking is, what previous qualifications for a new role in an exact industry would be something you’d accept as proof of validity?
This isn’t meant to be confrontational, I’m legitimately curious. I see these sentiments a lot on the Internet and it leads to a flurry of downvotes without anyone asking the person receiving them what would be their desired outcome / goal.
So to frame it in that regards, would someone being a lead engine developer give more credence to a solo project? Being a project manager? Having a varied CV that showed growth across a company providing a base understanding of several different disciplines without a targeted focus on one? Or something as simple as “they worked on the questlines that I personally liked”?
Genuinely interested in what would make YOU happy or impressed by an announcement like this.
Flip the conversation. What WOULD show a level of experience that equated to quality to you?
Add Blackbraid to that list as well. Amazing one man native black metal from the Adirondack region.
A shit ton of services are down right now. Smells like an attack.
wallbase/wallhaven as well
This is a huge hit to desktop ownership of the OS. Microsoft has officially made zero-trust a reality by doing this.
I expect there will be even more news at Ignite. Bear in mind 11 has been requiring a MS account for years and 10 is in it’s final months. Pushing users to cloud only Windows allows them (and their corporate customers) complete control of the ecosystem.
same issue here. as you can tell by lack of capitalization.
One thing I’ve noticed is, if I quick switch to another app and open the keyboard, it resolves the issue in Voyager.
Environment details:
Pixel 7
GrapheneOS
HeliBoard keyboard
Voyager installed from F-Droid
we will rebuild!
Just moved down to Oregon from the Seattle area a few years ago and have a Mach-E.
Similar setup to the other poster here. 50a installed at home. We plug in at night and have charging set to 80% and synced with the local utility to prefer off hours. Price wise, we’re spending about $60 a month compared to the $200+ we’d spend on previous ICE vehicles. Combined with solar on the roof, it’s been a pretty good value. Not a net zero for sure but overall good.
If there’s a long trip planned, we over ride settings to 100%. There’s a ton of 300kwh chargers along I5 (0%-90% in 20 or so minutes every 3-4 hours). We’ve driven from Seattle to LA with no trouble a few times. Takes a little bit more planning but not too much of an issue.
