Personally I down voted once I read that somehow one of these laptops are on par with a high end gaming PC which is simply not true at all.
I ain’t got no brain or no sane. I’m insane in the membrane.

Ubuntu is fine as a gateway drug imo. It hasn’t made the best decisions over time though, but I appreciate it’s contribution regardless.
Seems inefficient, one should just integrate ChatGPT into Bash to automatically check these things.
You said ‘ls’ but did you really mean ‘ls -la’? Imma go ahead and just give you the output from ‘cat /dev/urandom’ anyway.
Several local (but national chain brand) furniture stores.
So many reasons. One had better quality furniture on display than what they sold by a long way. Another tried to give me not one but two firm mattresses instead of medium and lie to me about them. Yet another got caught out blatantly lieing to my face about delivery times and procedures.
All of them had great customer service right until the point that they had our money and then completely treated us like garbage afterwards.
I fast forward half way and pray she still isn’t slobbering on some knob at that point and they’ve gotten down to businesses already.
Meat for the meat grinder.
Sounds like the Taiwanese police were under some pressure to make a big bust so they pulled out a box of cheap cables they acquired from the local markets and made up some public service maths to look good.
If you had super powers you probably wouldn’t have to steal anything or commit crimes to be rich. You’d just make money the same way people like the Kardashians do or worst case sign up to some sporting team and absolutely trounce everybody else then sign endorsements.
This is much more hassle. Apart from having to actually set up and configure such a device, every time you want to use it you’ve got to switch it on, switch your TV input and use a different remote to control it. This is far inferior to just using the TV remote to open Plex and navigate with the same remote. That’s without considering that Plex is more polished and has an overall better UI as well.
These are a lot of the core reasons why Plex is better. Setting up a media server is a lot more complicated than just installing the package in your favourite distro.
Plex is easier to set up and has more features that are more polished than what Jellyfin has. It’s also a more well known name and been available a lot longer and it’s app is available on a lot more devices including TVs themselves.
Jellyfin will one day be the superior option though once it’s more polished and caught up in these areas.
It’s the tobacco industry that screwed themselves over with these. They opened so many stores near high schools you’d swear it was a drug cartel front of it wasn’t for all the kids coming and going from them. Irresponsible greed backfired on the tobacco industry spectacularly here.
In Australia, most of the tobacco store chains were grey market importing vapes from Asia that had nicotine in them even if they were labelled nicotine-free. They also weren’t up to our mandated standards, often containing many nasty chemicals that people shouldn’t vape.
The industry also shot itself in the foot with these vapes by opening countless amounts of stores right up the road from every high school in the country. The one near mine has 8 within quick walking distance. They were selling these dodgy vapes to kids, often still in uniform like candy. It wasn’t unusual to see kids come and go from these shops in their school uniforms all the time. A few kids ended up in hospital because of these vapes too.
Personally, I’m glad to see these go and the health of our people will be a lot better for it. This article is also incorrect about the timing, it was announced some months ago that this ban on vapes was coming.
Wish I had the money to even be able to drive one of these nightmare cars in the first place. Yay for being poor I guess!
Just get Game pass for a month, it launches on there in a couple of days time.
Some of these games, like Starfield, cost an absolute fortune ($120 AUD where I live on Steam). I’m simply not going to pay that much for a game but will happily pick up something like Sea of Stars for less than half the price.
Latest release is a touch old (2022) and it’s not the most active repo ever. Hopefully its not dying.
A lot of younger people don’t know who Hitler was or just assume he’s a funny meme these days. It’s not their fault, this stuff is simply not taught in schools and I fear we’re destined to make the same mistakes all over again.
They do this with the goal to replace the tracking and ad network with their own. The article points out several instances where they’ve done this.
Only reason to choose Authy over anything else tbh. This just basically killed the product.
