An unsecured cockpit flag unfurling across a pilot’s visor and controls would be a pretty incredible way to lose an airframe
LOL before zooming in I thought the first one was a nativity scene.
I love the Hephaestus pilot’s little camel stuffy. I wonder what the story is behind it.
“Take Humpy with you, dad. He’ll keep you safe!”
That’s the WSO. Guy in the back is just a decoy.
This right here is why non stealth planes will always be cooler to me
Why is it always the same rectangular piece that has the art?
It might be a removable cover for an avionics bay. That would make it a lot easier to paint on an easel or flatter surface.
What? No Icarus?! “Fly, on your way, like an eagle, fly, touch the sun”
Hermes was never violent.

Hermes’s epithet Argeïphontes (Ancient Greek: Ἀργειφόντης; Latin: Argicida), meaning “slayer of Argus”,[75][76] recalls the slaying of the hundred-eyed giant Argus Panoptes by the messenger god. Argus was watching over the heifer-nymph Io in the sanctuary of Queen Hera, herself in Argos. Hermes placed a charm on Argus’s eyes with the caduceus to cause the giant to sleep, after which he slew the giant with a harpe.[14]
Hermes the giant killer?
Why no Artemis? I would think they would have an affinity for the hunt.
Even Apollo with his bow and arrows.
I dig Kratos instead of Aries. And as much I love Athena, the blunt force combat side of war seems more appropriate for these guys.
HOWEVER. If there is a female pilot, her call sign should be Athena and she should have Zeus on her plane, so whenever she gets out she’d be emerging as a fully formed warrior from his head.
That was before they broke into his house and killed his dog. Now he yeets Sidewinders.
